About Cub Scouting

When you sign your child up for Cub Scouting, you’re signing him/her up for much more than an after-school activity. Whether it’s cooking s’mores over a campfire or racing a Pinewood derby car, your child will learn new skills and build character while having fun!

Cub Scouting is a year-round program designed to meet the needs of children ages 5-10 and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Kids can begin as Lions once they enter Kindergarten, then move into Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade or age 8) and Bear Cub Scout programs (3rd grade or age 9), and Webelos (4th and 5th grade or age 10). They then transition into Scouts BSA.

Cub Scouting is now open to all children (boys and girls) in Kindergarten thru 5th grade.
